Siren Vandoll is a sexuality educator, writer, researcher and sensuality mentor from Canberra, Australia. She specializes in BDSM and alternative sexuality, sensual self-empowerment, non-monogamous relationships, positive consent, non-binary advocacy and queer kink. Siren provides workshops, group and event facilitation, mentoring and One-on-one coaching. She operates out of Canberra but has worked all Over Australia. She has also shared her knowledge on various podcasts, radio programs, magazines, universities, festivals and in other mediums. She is the leader and coordinator Of Sex Geekdom ACT, which runs discussion groups and social events for sex positive Canberrans. Vandoll is also a writer and contributor to the Queer/Sex Positive/Feminist webcomic ‘Queerbite‘. WORKSHOPS AT CELEBRATING SEXUALITY SENSUAL ORCHESTRATION: SCENING AND CONNECTING WITH SENSUAL PLAY Sensation Play is a great way to get started in BDSM, to expand your kinky repertoire or enhance your existing sex life. In this hands-on workshop, experienced sensualist Siren Vandoll will guide you through the exhilarating world of Sensation Play. Discover the intersections of pleasure and pain, expectation and anticipation and stimulation and deprivation and use them to create intense and intimate experiences. Learn to utilise different kinds of touch and an arsenal of implements to bring the senses to life, while developing communication and connection skills that give new depth to your sensual interactions. This workshop is best experienced with a touch-friendly companion (or companions) as use sensation play to enhance interpersonal connections and pleasure and this is best done with someone you are comfortable with. Sensation play can be adapted for both sexual and non-sexual play and is appropriate for ace-spectrum people who enjoy physical touch. IT'S NOT ALL ORGIES: A REALISTIC CONVERSATION ABOUT POLYAMORY AND OPEN-RELATIONSHIPS Polyamory and ethical non-monogamy are becoming more and more prominent in the cultural consciousness. Jealousy, logistics and failure to communicate can create issues and cause harm to those we love. Join Sex Educator Siren Vandoll in a conversation-based workshop about the realities of polyamory/ethical non-monogamy and how to make it work for you. Participants are welcome to be emotionally vulnerable and bring up examples from their own relationship challenges for discussion and advice.
