WORKSHOPS AT CELEBRATING SEXUALITY
Exploring Consent; Meaning My Yes, Meaning My No
This workshop sources Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent to enable you to explore your relationship with physical touch through the four modalities of serving, taking, receiving and allowing. You will learn to express the boundaries of your comfort zone by practising your ability to voice your yes and no in a series of graded structures which build trust in the other that you say what you mean and mean what you say.
Exploring Desire; Pleasure Islands
In this structure, a ritual space is created into which you are transported to a remote island where you are served by attentive 'spirits' who full your expressed desires (as far as they are able). You are encouraged to craft your own sensual journey through tuning into your body's deepest longings and expressing these as they shift and change to refine your experience. Everyone will spend time both as an island dweller and as a spirit.
Exploring Presence; An Immersion in Tantric Presencing
Open to couples, threesomes and beyond. If you are in a couple, we view your relationship as a 'third', (or if in a threesome, a 'fourth', etc). a being which each of you seeks to nurture, protect and support. We have found that the fundamental key to relational nurturance is to relax deeply, and to feel the embodied presence of both ourselves and our be-loved/s in contact. This requires that we take time out of the schedule of our often hectic modern lives and discover how to 'rest in the Other/s'.
This workshop will give you the time and some straightforward ways of working towards this end. We will use simple ritual to create a sacred space and move into a sequence of gentle partnered or multi-partnered yoga exercises. You don't have to be flexible or have practised yoga before. Following this, we will be using the principles of Tantric Presencing, a revolutionary new method of deepening relational contact combining breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation and energy work. Our intent is to help you deepen your emotional and physical sensitivity as each partner feels the other/s and react accordingly, generating an energetic ow of engaged mutual recognition.
